Auto Insurance Supports, a trade name of Summit Estimates LLC ("we", "us", "our"), operates autoinsurancesupports.com. We are an authorized independent insurance retailer working with partner carriers and licensed agencies. We are not an insurance company. We collect only the information needed to answer your inquiry, prepare your quote and, if you choose to buy, submit your application to the carrier.

2. Information we collect

• Information you give us: your name, email address, telephone number, state or ZIP code, the topic you selected, and the content of the message or documents you share with us through the contact form, by email or during a call.
• Information needed for a quote: if you ask us to quote, the carrier needs underwriting details such as the vehicle or property, how it is used, driver details, driving history and your current or previous coverage. We collect only what the carriers we work with require.
• Technical information: when you submit the form we may record the IP address and timestamp of the submission for security and spam prevention.
• Correspondence: records of emails and consultation notes, kept so that we can follow up on your inquiry accurately.

3. Information we do not want

Please do not email us payment card details or bank account credentials. Where payment is needed, you give those details to the issuing carrier or through a secure link, not in an ordinary email. If sensitive information we did not ask for reaches us, we delete it as soon as it is identified.

4. How we use information

• to respond to your inquiry and prepare quotes from the carriers and agencies we work with;
• to submit an application to an issuing carrier if you decide to buy, and to service that policy afterwards;
• to review and explain the quotes or policy documents you send us;
• to follow up about a consultation you requested;
• to maintain internal records, prevent spam and abuse, and secure our systems;
• to comply with applicable legal or regulatory obligations.

We do not use your details to send unsolicited marketing, and we do not create advertising profiles about you.

5. Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (given when you submit the form), the performance of the service you requested, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and responding to inquiries.

6. Sharing & disclosure

We share personal information only in these limited circumstances:

• With partner carriers and agencies, to get your quote. When you request a quote or policy, we share the details needed for underwriting with the carriers or licensed agencies we work with. We do not sell your personal information.
• Service providers: our web host and email provider process form submissions and messages strictly on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: where disclosure is required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
• With your direction: if you explicitly ask us to forward information to a third party.

Beyond the carriers and agencies needed to prepare your quote or service your policy, we do not pass your details to anyone, and we never sell them to lead buyers or marketers.

7. We do not sell your data

Sharing your details with a partner carrier to produce the quote you asked for is not a sale. Auto Insurance Supports does not sell, rent or trade your personal information for anyone else's marketing or for money. If you are a California resident, this means we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act.

8. Cookies & analytics

This website is designed to work without advertising or tracking cookies. A session cookie may be used purely to protect the contact form from repeated automated submissions. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and limit collection to aggregated usage statistics that do not identify you. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings.

9. Data retention

Inquiry records are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legitimate business, insurance or legal record keeping requirements. Where a policy was arranged, records are kept for the period required for insurance business records, and otherwise generally no longer than 24 months from our last contact.
